minciospace_ is a place for music, artistic development and collective exchange about a livable future for all. It is also a space where the role of art in supporting social transformation is explored.

Rehearsals, live sessions, expert talks, workshops and creative dialogue between musicians and people from other areas of society take place in over 750m² of space.

From October 1st to November 6th, 2024, minciospace_ will make its premises available for four residency days to develop an artistic project, creatively utilize the various spaces on site, and extend your own network. Part of the residency is the presentation of the developed piece/project at the final performance of the minciospace_ Arbeitskreis („collective“) on November 6th, 2024. The four residency days can be freely chosen within the residency period.

The organisation of the residency is flexible: work, development and rehearsals take place autonomously in the rooms provided; the minciospace_ infrastructure (rehearsal rooms, kitchen, WLAN, etc.) is available to the residents at any time as required.

There are no specific thematic guidelines, but an orientation towards the annual theme "community echoes," an examination of the "reparing the future" or a thematic reference to Gloria Benedikt's play "End to Begin"°° are highly desirable.
