A place to connect
In Minciostraße 17 in the 15th district of Vienna, a new center for music, artistic development, and collective exchange about a livable future for all is being established. It will also be a place where the role of art in supporting societal transformation is explored. Since June 2021, the former 750 m² antiques depot has been available to artists as an interim use building, while the minciospace_ team, together with experts, is planning the redesign and renovation of the building of the future.
The opening of minciospace_ is intended to pursue the vision of a decentralised, year-round location for artistic work and development with a focus on socially relevant topics, to respond flexibly to the needs of artists and to counteract precarious conditions for art and cultural production.
