Im zweiten Expert:innengespr\u00e4ch unter dem Jahresthema \u201eF\u00fcr\/Sorge\u201c ist der Musiker und Komponist Manu Delago zu Gast. Bekannt f\u00fcr seine Auseinandersetzung mit \u00f6kologischen Themen in seiner Musik, werfen wir gemeinsam einen Blick auf seine \u201eReCycling Tour\u201c \u2013 eine nachhaltige Konzertreise per Fahrrad \u2013 und sehen den dazu entstandenen Film \u201eFrom the Alps to the North Sea\u201c.<\/p>

Impulse geben zudem seine Projekte \u201eParasol Peak\u201c und \u201eEnviron Me\u201c, in denen Delago das Verh\u00e4ltnis zwischen Mensch und Natur auf besondere Weise erforscht. Diese Arbeiten er\u00f6ffnen neue Perspektiven auf musikalische Entwicklung, k\u00fcnstlerische Haltung, Touring und die Art, Musik auf die B\u00fchne zu bringen.<\/p>

Im Gespr\u00e4ch geht es um die Verbindung von k\u00fcnstlerischer Praxis und \u00f6kologischer Verantwortung: Welche Rolle spielt F\u00fcrsorge f\u00fcr Umwelt und Gesellschaft in Delagos Arbeit? Welche Chancen und Herausforderungen entstehen aus nachhaltigem Touring und ressourcenschonendem Arbeiten? Und wie kann Musik zu einem bewussteren Umgang mit unserer Umwelt beitragen?<\/p>

Der Abend l\u00e4dt ein zu Austausch, Fragen und gemeinsamen \u00dcberlegungen, wie F\u00fcrsorge und Nachhaltigkeit in der k\u00fcnstlerischen Praxis ineinandergreifen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>

\u00dcber Manu Delago<\/strong><\/p>

Manu Delago ist ein \u00f6sterreichischer Hangspieler, Perkussionist und Komponist. Er studierte klassisches Schlagwerk am Mozarteum in Innsbruck, Jazz-Schlagzeug an der Guildhall School of Music and Drama und Komposition am Trinity College of Music. 2003 entdeckte er das Hang, begann intensiver zu komponieren, gr\u00fcndete eigene Ensembles und konzertierte seit 2007 in verschiedensten Formationen in \u00fcber 20 L\u00e4ndern, unter anderem in der Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, dem Sydney Opera House und beim Fuji Rock Festival.<\/p>

Das Video Freeze (2017), gedreht in den Alpen, markierte den Beginn seiner verst\u00e4rkten Auseinandersetzung mit Naturthemen und f\u00fchrte zu Parasol Peak (2018) \u2013 einem mehrfach ausgezeichneten Album und Film, in dem er ein Ensemble auf einer Bergexpedition in den Alpen leitete.<\/p>

Seine Umweltfokussierung setzte er mit der nachhaltigen ReCycling Tour (2023) fort \u2013 einer Fahrrad-Konzerttour von Innsbruck nach Amsterdam \u00fcber 1.500 km, 18 Konzerte und 28 Tage \u2013 und spiegelt sich auch in seinem Album Snow From Yesterday (2024) wider. Das Album thematisiert die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels, den Lauf der Zeit, Generationen und die Verg\u00e4nglichkeit des Lebens. Es entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vokaltrio Mad About Lemon, mit dem er derzeit auf Tour ist.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
